Policies (A.K.A. The Fine Print)
Minimum Quantities:
We have a minimum order requirement of one (12 bottle) case. You may mix
several wines in order to arrive at the minimum quantity.
Deposits:
At WINEPAIRINGS, our service is included in the price of the wine. We believe that
being able to rely on our knowledge and experience without incurring additional costs is a major benefit
for our customers. Once we have our initial consultation with you completed (see Range of Services
Section) we require a deposit of 30% of your estimated total bill. Upon receipt of your deposit, (we can
obtain credit card information on the phone for your convenience) we will make our recommendations for
final selections. Since we represent many small producers who do not make wine in large quantity, we make
certain that as soon as your selection is made we confirm the wine is available and store it for your event.
Your deposit secures the wine on your behalf. The balance of your bill will be due at delivery.
Rescheduling:
If you decide to postpone your event beyond 60 days from the original scheduled
delivery or pickup, please contact us to make arrangements for additional storage or arrange for a release
of the product, in which case an in house credit of your deposit will be issued for your next purchase.
Cancellations:
Orders cancelled up to 48 hrs. prior to delivery or pick up are eligible for a
refund of the initial deposit. However, a charge will be deducted based on the hourly amount of time
spent on your order including but not limited to the time spend on consulting with you and or any of your
representatives, including but not limited to Caterers/Chefs, matching wines to food, ordering wine,
conducting a sample tasting and all other time spent directly on your order. The hourly rate for our
services is $125 based on 15 minute intervals with a minimum charge of $75. You may avoid any such
charges by obtaining an in house credit, which needs to be used within six months from your original
order. Any orders cancelled within 48 hours from a scheduled final delivery or pick up will result in
a complete forfeiting of all deposits.
Returns:
Unused product: should you have any unused wine from your event, you may return it for
a full refund without any restocking fees. This excludes special orders or limited quantities wines
ordered on your behalf from out of state. Please contact us within 3 business days from your event.
(Please note; by law we cannot accept or refund unused wine which was served at an establishment with a
liquor license-for more information on this please contact us).
Delivery charge:
We deliver to most Colorado Front Range locations for a fee which we will be
glad to quote based on your order size & requirements. Delivery to other locations will be expedited
using commercial carriers such as UPS or Fed. Ex. and will be charged the actual delivery charges. Please
contact us for additional information.
- Please note that you must be at least 21 years old to order or receive alcohol from WINEPAIRINGS.
Also, the person signing for the order upon delivery must also be at least 21 years old.
- Due to our strict policy of not shipping alcohol to minors, please be advised that WE RESERVE THE
RIGHT TO REFUSE ORDERS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT EXPLANATION. Thank you for your understanding.
